The festival is being organized in Mumbai to provide maximum exposure to the creative talents of the North-Eastern States to the mainstream Industry.

Randeep Hooda to Mahima Chaudhary celebs grace Northeast Film Festival

NEFF 2023 featured excellent films, short films, and documentaries from various sectors of Northeast India. The event was attended by the film personalities like Mahima Chaudhry, Randeep Hooda, Gulshan Grover, Padmini Kolhapure, Mukesh Chabbra, Ashok Pandit Abhinav Kashyap, Poonam Dhillon, Pooja Sharma, Yash Pal Sharma, and many others. Mr Amstrong Pame, Director I&B, Govt of India addressed the audience and appealed to people to come and make films in the states of Northeast. Filmmakers from Bollywood & Northeast India attended the film festival, and the NEFF is received positive feedback in terms of film and documentary participation. The film festival witnessed a strong response from the northeastern states, with filmmakers from Manipur, Assam, Sikkim, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and other northeastern states.
