The trailer for the film is everything you’d expect from an edgy comedy. It’s a funny, edgy comedy from director Gene Stupnitsky (Good Boys) and Bad Teacher co-writer.
Maddie (Lawrence) is on the verge of losing her childhood home in No Hard Feelings. She then comes across an intriguing job posting: wealthy helicopter parents seeking someone to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, before he departs for college. Maddie soon discovers, to her surprise, that the awkward Percy is not a sure thing.

Along with Natalie Morales, Hasan Minhaj, Kyle Mooney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Scott MacArthur, and others, No Hard Feelings also stars Andrew Barth Feldman as Percy, Matthew Broderick as his father, Laura Benanti as his mother, and a host of other actors. Since her starring role in Winter’s Bone in 2010, this movie is Lawrence’s first comedy. Lawrence has previously acted in comedies like Silver Linings Playbook and Joy as well as dark comedies like Don’t Look Up and American Hustle.
