Actor Nitin Chauhaan, who shot to fame with shows such as Dadagiri 2 and MTV Splitsvilla, died by suicide on November 7. He was only 35. The untimely demise left his friends as well as fans shocked, with many taking to social media to remember the actor.
Nitin’s colleague Vibhuti Thakur, posted a story on Instagram, which hinted at possible reasons behind this drastic step. She wrote, “Rest in peace my dear.. really shocked and sad… wish you had the strength to face all the troubles. Wish you were mentally strong like your body.” This led to fans speculating if he was under pressure due to personal or professional issues.
However, his close friend Kuldeep, has clarified that the actor was not going through any financial crisis. During an interview with Times of India, Kuldeep, who seemed at a loss for words, shared, “He never mentioned anything. We used to share everything with each other, and there were no financial issues. I just wish he had called me once before doing this; I would have stopped him.”
Kuldeep also talked about his bond with Nitin and revealed how he was the most enthusiastic and fun loving person, who would prioritise his friends and family. He also shared that Nitin was the friend who would take on the responsibility of driving for their group trips. “He was the one who brought life to our outings,” he told the media portal, and added that Nitin had been planning to visit Delhi next month and the two had discussed a trip to the Khatu Shyam Ji temple together.
