Anurag Kashyap has returned as a director on the big screen with the movie ‘Nishaanchi’. The movie is headlined by debutant Aaishvary Thackeray, who has played a double role alongside Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra.
‘Nishaanchi’ focuses on two brothers, who are identical twins but have different personalities. Their journey goes through crime into a deeper story of human nature and its results.
Nishaanchi box office collection day 2:
According to the website Sacnilk, Nishaanchi had a modest opening at the box office, collecting Rs 25 lakh on its first day (Friday). Released alongside Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 3, the film faced stiff competition but saw a slight improvement on its second day (Saturday), earning around Rs 30 lakh according to early estimates. This brings the two day total to Rs 55 lakh, reflecting a slow but steady start despite the box office clash.

The movie is produced by Ajay Rai and Ranjan Singh under Jar Pictures, in association with Flip Films. It is written by Prasoon Mishra, Ranjan Chandel and Anurag Kashyap.
