New Delhi: In an interesting development in the conman Sukesh Chandrashekar case, the names of TV actresses Nikki Tamboli and Chahat Khanna have come to the fore amid the ongoing investigation in the money laundering case.
As per Enforcement Directorate (ED) charge sheet, the two actresses have visited Sukesh in Tihar jail. According to the report, Nikita Tamboli, Chahat Khanna, Sophia Singh, and Arusha Patil met Sukesh via his associate Pinky Irani.
As per the ED charge sheet, Nikki is gifted a Gucci bag and given a sum of Rs 3.5 lakh.

According to an India Today report, the ED stated in its charge sheet, “During the first meeting in April 2018, the accused Pinky Irani received an amount to the tune of ₹10 lakh in cash from Sukesh Chandrasekhar, out of which she gave cash to the tune of Rs. 1.5 lakh to Nikita Tamboli. On the second occasion, after two to three weeks of her first meeting, she went alone to meet Sukesh Chandrasekhar where she was given cash to the tune of ₹2 lakh and one Gucci Bag by the accused Sukesh Chandrasekhar.”
Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi has been summoned by Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) on Thursday.
Earlier, Nora Fatehi was questioned by the EOW on September 2 over the money laundering case.
According to reports, Nora was asked more than 50 questions in the 200 Cr extortion case. The questions include what gifts did she receive, who did she talk to, where did she meet them, and so on.

Jacqueline Fernandez grilled for 8 hours by EOW
Yesterday, Jacqueline Fernandez has been grilled for eight and half hours by EOW in connection with the same case. The actress has not been called for a second round tomorrow. The senior officials will hold a meeting and discuss the answers, she gave in today’s session. They will then decide on whether to call Jacqueline for the second round of questioning.
