OTT Releases This Week (April 7 To 13): This week, Netflix, JioHotstar and other popular OTT platforms will offer a variety of shows and movies to its audience. From sci-fi series with Black Mirror Season 7 to much-awaited K-drama Resident Playbook, check the list of movies and web series coming to OTT platforms this week.
Black Mirror 7
Black Mirror Season 7 will release on Netflix on April 10, 2025. The show will have six episodes in total and Netflix has announced its titles as well. All the episodes are set in a dystopian future which has heavy influence of new sci-fi technology.
Chhaava
Chhaava is based on the book ‘Chhava’ by Shivaji Sawant and focuses on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. The movie stars Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles. According to Binged, the movie will release on Netflix on April 11.
Pravinkoodu Shappu
Pravinkoodu Shappu will release on SonyLiv on April 11, 2025. The movie will also be available to watch in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. Starring Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph and Chemban Vinod Jose in the lead roles, the movie focuses on the investigation of a death at a shop and how 11 people becomes prime suspects.
The Legends Of Hanuman 6
‘The Legend Of Hanuman 6’ showcases the life events of Lord Hanuman. It stars Sanket Mhatre as Lord Ram and Damandeep Singh Baggan as Lord Hanuman. Surbhi Pandey has lent her voice to Goddess Sita, whereas, Richard Joel is the voice of Lakshman. Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar is the voice of Raavan. The Legend Of Hanuman Season 6 will release on JioHotstar on April 11.
Resident Playbook
Resident Playbook stars Go Youn-jung, Shin Si-ah, Han Ye-ji, Kang You-seok, and Jung Joon-won. It is the spin-off of the popular K-drama Hospital Playlist.
Kian’s Bizarre B&B
The show will focus on the journey of KIAN84, who opens a one-of-a-kind guesthouse called ‘KIAN Bizarre B&B’ on the idyllic island of Ulleungdo. Jin and Ji Ye-eun will work as the B&B’s staffs. Kian’s Bizarre B&B will release on Netflix on April 8, 2025.
