If you’re an avid Instagram user, you must have come across Celesti Bairagey’s videos where she either smiles or dresses up like Alia Bhatt. Celesti is short and has dimple. But she’s no Alia Bhatt. There’s no uncanny resemblance, believes the internet. While Celesti has long been advertising herself as Alia’s doppelganger, she, in an Official Humans of Bombay post, claimed that she does not want to be identified as Alia Bhatt. “I want to retain my own identity,” an excerpt from the text written on the video read. Well, netizens couldn’t help but notice the duality of the post. “She only looked like Alia in the first video where she dressed like her and was dancing in a similar manner to that of Alia’s. The only resemblance is in the smile. For someone who wants to pursue acting, it is always best to stay original. Bollywood sure wouldn’t want what they already have. Meanwhile, seems like Celesti Bairagey’s internet popularity has paid off. The young diva will soon be seen in the upcoming TV serial Udti Ka Naam Rajjo’ opposite Rajveer Singh. The show will premiere on 8th August at 7 pm. The story is set in the times of the floods and how Rajjo meets her perfect match while she gets saved by him.
