New Delhi: The first look of Nawazuddin Siddiqui from Haddi has finally dropped in and the fun fact is that, it reminds netizens of actress Archana Puran Singh. Nawazuddin’s look from the upcoming film, shows him dressed as a woman. The overall look gave Twitterati a pure resemblance to The Kapil Sharma Show’s Archana.
Well, ever since his first look is out, people have been praising it for Nawaz’s gender-defying makeover.

The internet users amused at the utter resemblance of Nawaz’s look to Archana and they took to Twitter to share their amusements. One user wrote, “Guess who Nawazuddin Siddiqui or Archana Puran singh ?!?!! Upcoming movie Haddi.”

Meanwhile, reacting to the comments and views of the netizens, Archana also expressed her opinion. Speaking to a media house, she said, “It’s the hairstyle which has become synonymous with me that is causing all these comparisons. I’ve used this side-parted look during the early part of Kapil show (The Kapil Sharma Show).”
She further added, “All I can say is its a huge compliment to be compared to Nawaz in ANY way possible.”

According to the actress, it is a compliment for her to be compared to Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Talking about Haddi, the film is produced by Raadhika Nanda and Sanjay Saha of Anandita Studios and Zee Studios. The film is being directed by debutante filmmaker Akshat Ajay Sharma.
The first look video has been shared by Nawazuddin himself. Taking to his Instagram, he wrote, “Crime has never looked this good before. 🔥#Haddi, a noir revenge drama starring in a never-seen-before avatar. Filming begins, releasing in 2023.”
