Cillian Murphy found global fame with his hit series ‘Peaky Blinders’, streaming on Netflix. When the show ended with its sixth season, it was a bittersweet feeling for fans as they loved Cillian’s portrayal of Thomas Shelby, and he will reprise this role in an upcoming movie as well. Fans don’t need to be disappointed as Peaky Blinders will return with two more seasons.
The ‘Oppenheimer’ star will join the show as executive producer, but it is not clear if he will star in the show or not. The new seasons will follow the story after the events of the upcoming ‘Peaky Blinders’ movie titled ‘The Immortal Man’. It will shift its focus to the new generation of the Birmingham clan.
Announcing the series, the makers wrote, “The Shelbys are back in business. A new era, a new generation, a new story. A new series. With the Shelby family right at its blood-soaked heart.”
