Neha Sharma, Pap’s favorite, stated that she received snaps from inappropriate angles while stepping out. Despite the paparazzi being an integral part of the entertainment industry, many actresses have recently called them out. This has sparked uproar even among worshipers who believe that the paparazzi have crossed the line of decency.
Neha Sharma stated that sometimes this invasion of privacy affects her, but she also understands that it is part of the business. Neha mentioned that it could also result in the loss of women’s freedom.
The ‘Tum Bin’ actor shared, ‘There are days when you don’t want to be seen, so you take a break like I did recently. These are the things you have to do to stay relevant. It’s important to be seen in today’s time. As a woman, you also lose your freedom to dress the way you want when the talk is in angles. When you’re in public, you have to be careful because sometimes things go wrong.’

Expressing the other side of the issue, Neha said, ‘There is another side to talking to them (operators). Their livelihood depends on it because they are paid for it. They support their families while taking these photos and videos, and they also have hard days waiting for one photo. So when you introspectively look at it, you realize that you also come from a family, and that is beautiful.

Neha shared that when the show ‘Illegal’ was launched on JioCinema in 2020, no one expected it to have multiple seasons. “I’m so grateful that everyone liked our project, and that’s why it received the green light for the next seasons. We did something right. Also, the character I play, Niharika Singh, is very close to my heart, and I’m so excited for people to see our last season.”
She further added that when the show came to her, there were not many projects for women. It was rare because OTT wasn’t what it is now. There were few roles like that back then, but now there’s so much work. When it happened, I was thrilled to get a role with a show like that.
When there’s something. like meaty, it goes usually for A-list and more commercial actors. Since not many enthusiasts were into digital streams at the time, it became an advantage for actors like me. As they say, the early birds catch the best worms,” concluded Neha Sharma with a smile.
