Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor celebrated her daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt’s 32nd birthday with a warm social media post, calling her a “gorgeous friend” and sharing a special memory.
On her Instagram stories, Neetu posted a photo of herself and Alia, both smiling happily together. She said the photo was “precious” because it was the first one taken of them together. Neetu wrote, “Happy birthday my gorgeous friend. This pic is precious as it’s our first. Stay happy and blessed. Love, love, and more love.”

Alia, who married Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor’s son, in April 2022, had planned to celebrate her birthday and Holi in Alibaug. However, she cut her trip short after hearing the sad news of the death of filmmaker Deb Mukherjee, the father of her close friend and director Ayan Mukerji. Deb Mukherjee, 83, passed away on Friday. Alia, along with her sister Shaheen Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, went to Ayan Mukerji’s home to pay their respects.
On March 12, Alia celebrated her birthday with the media and shared details about her upcoming film, Love and War. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the movie stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal. Alia mentioned that the cast is filming at night to avoid distractions, allowing Bhansali to create his famous, detailed storytelling.
