Naga Chaitanya has officially begun shooting for his much-anticipated project “NC24,” a mythical thriller directed by “Virupaksha” fame Karthik Dandu. The actor announced that the production kicked off on Saturday by sharing behind the scenes video titled “The Excavation Begins,” showcasing months of preparation for this ambitious film.
The BTS footage offers fans a glimpse of Chaitanya sporting a new look as he actively participates in discussions with the film’s team. One striking scene shows the actor studying a model of deep caves alongside the director, hinting at the mysterious world the film intends to create. The video also highlights extensive outdoor set construction and pre-production efforts.
Sharing the video, the makers wrote, “Years of ideation. Months of preparation. Endless rehearsals. And what you’re seeing now is just a whisper of the storm that’s coming!” wrote the makers in their announcement, promising “a never-before-seen mythical thriller that will leave you on the edge of your seat.”

The film is produced by BVSN Prasad and Sukumar under SVCC and Sukumar Writings banners and features music by Ajaneesh Loknath. “Laapataa Ladies” actor Sparsh Shrivastava is set to play a crucial role, while Meenakshi Chaudhary is speculated to join the cast as the female lead.
