New Delhi: The marriage of Nawazuddin Siddiqui is having trouble once more. When the actor’s mother filed an FIR against her, everything began. As events progressed, the actor’s attorneys even asserted that Aaliya’s marriage to him was invalid because she had not requested a divorce from her previous husband. The star has also asserted his custody rights over the kids. Aaliya then used her social media accounts to upload a video and ask for help from the public. She further charged Nawazuddin with rape.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife’s video
Aaliya, the wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, posted a video on Instagram. She said that the star, whom she referred to as “badtameez,” requested custody of their daughters Shora and Yaani. Accusing him of ‘misusing’ his influence, she further alleged that Nawaz had no information about how the children were brought up. She also stated, while sobbing, “Tum apne paise se kitne logo ko khareed lo, mere bache nahi cheen sakte tum mujhse… mujhse bache cheen ke kahan rakhega unhe? Mere bache kya reh lenge iske saath? Mere bacho ko toh pata bhi nahi baap kya hota hai (You can buy people with your money but you cannot steal my children. Where will you keep them? Will they stay with you? They don’t even know what a father is).”

While sharing the video, in the caption, she wrote in Hindi, “A great actor, who tries to be a great human being often! A heartless mother who calls my innocent child illegitimate and this man keeps quiet. A rape complaint (with proof) was filed at Versova police station yesterday. Whatever happens, I will not let my innocent children go into these heartless hands.”
Nawazuddin-Aaliya’s case
Nawaz’s mother, Mehrunisa Siddiqui, submitted a First Information Report (FIR) against the actor’s wife on January 23. Mumbai’s Versova Police later invited Aaliya for questioning over the issue. Afterwards, Aaliya’s attorney revealed some startling details about how Nawazuddin’s family allegedly tortured Aaliya and denies her access to food, a bed, and a bathroom. Later, the actor’s attorney asserted that because Aaliya is still legally wed to her first spouse, her union with Nawaz is invalid.
