About Aliya Fakhri’s Controversy
According to the reports by ETimes, Aliya Fakhri was arrested in Queens, New York, on November 26, for murdering boyfriend Edward Jacobs and his new girlfriend Anastasia Ettienne. Aliya was reportedly in a toxic relationship with her boyfriend Edward. She had earlier mentioned that she will burn down his house and kill him, but everyone laughed it off.
The tragic incident happened when she put the garage on fire. Describing the incident, the eyewitness shares, “We had to jump over it to escape. Star jumped over with me, but then she went back in to save Jacobs. It was an abusive relationship. She had told everyone before that she was going to burn his house down, that she was going to kill him. We just laughed it off.”
However, Aliya’s mother defended her and claimed “I don’t think she would be killing someone. She was a person who was caring for everybody. She tried to help everybody.”
The District Attorney gave a statement announcing that Aliya Fakhri had been caught on several charges, including first-degree murder, second-degree murder and arson. If convicted, Aliya would face life imprisonment.
