New Delhi: Nana Patekar has joined the cast of the highly awaited ‘Gadar 2’. The ‘Welcome actor’ provided his voiceover and would be introducing the film. He stepped in for the late Om Puri, who gave a voiceover for the first instalment, ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.
‘Gadar2′, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, included Nana Patekar’s voice. His inclusion to the cast has raised the bar for the audience.
Taran Adarsh, a cinema critic and trade analyst, took to social media to reveal Nana Patekar’s involvement with the film. He wrote, “NANA PATEKAR DOES VOICEOVER FOR ‘GADAR 2’. NanaPatekar has lent his voice to ‘Gadar 2’ Nana’s voiceover will introduce Gadar 2 to the moviegoers at the very start of the film. It may be recalled that OmPuri had done the voiceover for the introductory scenes of Gadar (first part), way back in 2001 (sic).”

Fans’ excitement has grown since the news. The replayed version of ‘Ja Kaale Kaava’ from the sequel to the 2001 film has already won hearts.
The sequel to the 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ is titled ‘Gadar 2’. Anil Sharma directs and produces the film, which is produced by Zed Studios. Shaktimaan Talwar wrote it as a period action-drama. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma play in the key roles in ‘Gadar 2’. On August 11, the film will be released in theatres.
