Television heartthrob Nakuul Mehta and his wife Jankee Parekh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on August 15, 2025. The couple announced the joyous news today in a heartfelt joint post.
The new parents shared a series of adorable pictures. In the first, their son Sufi is seen lovingly cradling his baby sister in his lap. Another frame captures Nakuul gazing at his newborn, while the third is a candid moment of the couple just before Jankee delivered their little one.
Introducing their daughter as Rumi, the couple penned a touching note, “She’s here. Sufi finally has his Rumi. Our hearts are complete. 15th August 2025. Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

Earlier in June, the couple had announced their pregnancy with a sweet family photoshoot, writing, “The boy is ready for additional responsibility. So are we. We are accepting blessings.”
Nakuul is widely loved for his roles in TV hits like Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, Ishqbaaaz, and currently stars opposite Disha Parmar in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. Jankee, a singer by profession, has released several popular tracks and YouTube videos.
The pair tied the knot on January 28, 2012, and welcomed their first child, Sufi, in February 2021.
