In an Instagram post, he claimed that the couple’s relationship would suffer due to an unspecified third part, leading to its end in 2027. It’s interesting to note that Swamy had earlier predicted the divorce of Naga Chaitanya with his first wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Now, amid reports of the couple tying the knot on December 4, a reddit post has surfaced hinting at trouble in the marriage plans. Without naming anyone, but giving a clear description of Naga and Sobhita, the post read, “An astrologer had predicted that this Tollywood star kid’s marriage to a Bollywood web series star is doomed. As per a source, his parents cross checked with another astrologer. the other astrologer also predicted the same outcome. Now his parents are asking him to reconsider marrying his fiancé.”
Several fans in the comment section confirmed that the post indeed is about Naga and Sobhita, and parents mentioned are Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni. Read the comments here:
Venu Swamy Faced Basklash!
After Venu Swamy’s post went viral just a day after their engagement, he received a lot of flak on social media. People pointed out the insensitivity of predicting someone’s personal life, that too publicly. Later, the Telugu Film Journalist Association (TFJA) took control of the situation and filed a formal complaint against Swamy. They accused him of inappropriate and harmful commentary on a personal matter, while highlighting past incidents where he made predictions about others’ personal life.
Swamy removed the original video on Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala following the criticism and also issued an apology. He clarified that it was merely an extension of his previous predictions about their personal life.
