‘My Comfort Was…’, Triptii Dimri Opens Up About Intimate Scenes With Ranbir Kapoor In ‘Animal’

Triptii Dimri also praised Ranbir Kapoor for being an incredibly supportive co-actor, particularly during the filming of the intimate scenes in the song ‘Pehle Bhi Main.’ She emphasized the importance of having a trustworthy co-actor in such situations, stating, “It really helps when you have a co-actor you can count on so much. You have to be comfortable performing those scenes.” Triptii highlighted the supportive environment created by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ranbir, and the Director of Photography, mentioning, “Sandeep (Reddy Vanga) sir, Ranbir, and the DOP told me, ‘Every time you’re uncomfortable, you just have to let us know, and we’ll make sure that you don’t.”

The actor, known for her roles in ‘Bulbbul’ and ‘Qala,’ continued by stressing the significance of being in an environment where one is respected as an individual, including choices and actions at that particular moment, making it solely about the work and nothing else.

She emphasized that the particular scene was treated as casually as any other in the film, and it wasn’t unnecessarily highlighted. Triptii expressed, “We did it exactly the way we did other scenes. My comfort was taken care of. It was a part of the story.”

Discussing the topic of intimacy coordinators on set, she mentioned, “As long as you’re comfortable with your co-actors and directors, it shouldn’t matter. But some people need them. It depends from person to person.”

As the attention on the song “Pehle Bhi Main” continues to grow, Triptii admitted feeling overwhelmed by the love and attention coming her way. Reflecting on her initial expectations, she shared, “I was very nervous on the first day. I knew the film would do well but I wasn’t expecting this kind of a response for Zoya. I thought, ‘It’s a small role and it will come and go.’ But I wasn’t expecting to receive so much love or even be noticed. I haven’t been able to sleep.” Additionally, she remains a topic of discussion for reportedly being cast as the female lead in ‘Aashiqui 3.’
