What Happened

According to police, Dilip Chaudhary threatened Kapil Sharma using the names of gangsters Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar. Between September 22 and 23, he made seven threatening phone calls and also sent intimidating videos. Some threats were made from another number as well.

Mumbai police quickly tracked him to West Bengal, arrested him, and brought him to Mumbai. He was presented in Esplanade court, which sent him to police custody until September 30.

Police are now checking whether Chaudhary actually has links with the gangsters or was just using their names to scare Kapil and demand money.
