Mukul Dev No More: Mugdha Godse Reveals Actor Was In ICU For One Week Before His Demise; Says ‘Still In A State Of Shock’

Mukul Dev passed away on May 23. He was in ICU for a week due to health complications.

Mukul Dev, well-known Bollywood actor, passed away on May 23. He starred in many popular films like ‘Son Of Sardaar’, ‘R…Rajkumar’, ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Omerta’ and many more. Mugdha Godse revealed that the actor was in the ICU for a week and could not survive. His colleagues in the film industry are also in shock after hearing the news of his demise.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, Mugdha shared, “We are still in a state of shock.” She added, “He was in ICU for a week with health complications, and he couldn’t survive. None of us in our wildest imagination could think of this coming.”

Earlier, Mukul’s brother Rahul Dev shared that the actor passed away peacefully in his sleep and his cremation will be held today. The post shared by Rahul Dev read, “Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully at New Delhi last night. He’s survived by his daughter Sia Dev. Missed by siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev and nephew Sidhant Dev. Cremation at 5 PM.”

Talking about Mukul’s work, he also worked in many popular television shows like ‘Kutumb’, ‘Kumkum’ and several others. Mukul also won Indian Telly Award for the Best Actor In A Negative Role for his role in ’21 Sarfarosh – Saragarhi 1897′. He made his debut in Bollywood with the 1996 film ‘Dastak’, which was also a debut movie of Sushmita Sen.
