Mufasa: The Lion King And Shah Rukh Khan Have THIS In Common; Watch The Video To Find Out

Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King will be releasing in Indian cinemas on 20th December 2024, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Mufasa is back to roar and once again, giving him the voice is none other than Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The actor recently dubbed for the Hindi version of the upcoming animated film along with his sons Aaryan Khan and AbRam Khan. While fans agree that there could not have been a more suited voice for the character of Mufasa, Shah Rukh has surprised them with another video where he shares how there are more similarities between him and the jungle king than one knows about.

In the newly released video by Walt Disney, Shah Rukh Khan narrates the story of Mufasa, a tale of hardship, perseverance, and triumph, echoing his own inspiring journey to becoming one of India’s most beloved superstars. Just as Mufasa rose above challenges to claim his rightful place as a leader, Shah Rukh Khan’s hard work and determination has cemented his legacy as the true Badshah of Indian cinema.

About the Film

Mufasa: The Lion King enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, introducing an orphaned cub called Mufasa, a sympathetic lion named Taka – the heir to a royal bloodline – and their expansive journey alongside an extraordinary group of misfits. The all-new feature film is directed by Barry Jenkins.
