Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway box office collection Day 7: Rani Mukerji’s film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway received positive reviews from both fans and critics. However, it did not translate at the box office.
The film is inspired by the true story of Sagarika Chakraborty, whose children were taken away by Norwegian authorities. Ashima Chibber’s director has struggled to keep up at the box office and in the end, the film was able to earn Rs 100 crore. The film faced competition from Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Box Office Collection
The film got off to a decent start at the box office. On its sixth day on 22nd March, the film suffered a dramatic drop as it barely minted Rs. 80 lahks. Therefore, the total domestic cash collection is now Rs 10.49 crore. These are not impressive numbers. Meanwhile, on March 23, The film recorded an overall occupancy rate of 9.74% in Hindi.

About the film
A mother fights an entire nation for custody of her children in the film. Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya also star in the film. The film was directed by Ashima Chibber and released on March 17.
The film is based on Sagarika Chakraborty’s autobiography titled The Journey of a Mother. Sagarika’s children were taken from her by the Norwegian Childcare system (Barnevernet) in 2011.
