Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway box office collection Day 2: On Friday, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway opened to a rather slow start for Rani Mukerji. Although it received mixed reviews from critics and fans, it earned excellent reviews from celebrities as well. Despite a slow start to the opening weekend, early estimates suggest that the film is steadily gaining ground.

There was much praise for the film from Rani Mukerji’s friend Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and many others.

While it didn’t mint enough on Day 1, Day 2 early estimates suggest that the film is steadily picking up. As per a Sacnilk report, the film minted Rs 1.27 crore on Day 1. As per early estimates, the film earned Rs 2.50 crore on Day 2. The total amount now stands at Rs 3.77 crore. There has been no release of actual figures.

About the film

A mother fights an entire nation for custody of her children in the film. Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya also star in the film. The film was directed by Ashima Chibber and released on March 17. The film is based on Sagarika Chakraborty’s autobiography titled The Journey of a Mother. Sagarika’s children were taken from her by the Norwegian Childcare system (Barnevernet) in 2011.
