Newtopia
‘Newtopia’ is an upcoming television series, starring Jisoo and Park Jeong-min in the lead roles. The show is based on the novel called ‘Influenza’ by Han Sang-woon. According to reports, ‘Newtopia’ will focus on a couple, who get stuck into a zombie outbreak amid dealing with their breakup. It will release on Prime Video on February 7, 2025.
Study Group
‘Study Group’ revolves around Youn Ga Min, a naturally gifted martial artist, who wants to achieve academic success and forms a study group. Things take a turn when his group is targetted by bullies and he has to use his fighting skills to defend them. The series stars Hwang Min Hyun, Lee Jong Hyun, Cha Woo Min and Han Ji Eun in the lead roles. It will release on Viki Rakuten on January 23, 2025.
The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call
‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ is Netflix Korea’s first original medical series and revolves around Dr. Baek Kang-hyuk, who is a genius surgeon seasoned by years in war zones. He forms a team to establish a top-tier trauma center and is set against diverse backdrops — from battlefields to mountain accidents. The series stars Ju Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo, Yang Jae-won, Cheon Jang Mi and Ha-young.
The Price of Confession
‘The Price of Confession’ stars Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Go-eun, Park Hae-soo and Jin Sun-kyu. The show will be a mystery thriller and not much has been revealed about it. It will release on Netflix in 2025.

When Life Gives You Tangerines
‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ stars Lee Ji-eun, Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri and Park Hae-joon in the lead roles. The show is set in the 1950s and will focus on Ae-soon and Gwan-sik’s life in Jeju. The series will release on Netflix in March 2025.
Tempest
‘Tempest’ will mark Gianna Jun’s return to acting after four years. The series will revolve around Moon Joo, who is a diplomat and a former ambassador to the United States. She comes across San Ho, who is an elite mercenary and a mysterious figure whose nationality and past are both shrouded in secrecy. The series will release on Disney+ Hotstar in 2025.
