The much anticipated period drama Vrusshabha, starring Mohanlal, recently teased fans with a powerful teaser, promising a grand cinematic spectacle. Directed by Nanda Kishore, the film was initially slated for a Diwali 2025 release, but the makers have now confirmed a slight delay.
Mohanlal took to social media to officially announce the new release date. He wrote: “The ground shakes. The sky burns. Destiny has chosen its warrior. #Vrusshabha arrives on 6th November!”
The movie is now all set to hit theaters on November 6, 2025.

Presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in associa6on with Abishek S Vyas Studios, Vrusshabha is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C.K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta.
The movie also stars Samarjit Lankesh and Ragini Dwivedi in the lead roles. Vrusshabha will be a Pan Indian film shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, and dubbed in Hindi and Kannada.
