Tollywood veteran Mohan Babu is facing a legal trouble once again. This comes after his recent involvement in a police case linked to his younger son, Manchu Manoj. The new allegations have brought the actor under serious scrutiny as the complaint is filed in Andhra Pradesh’s Khammam district regarding his alleged involvement in the tragic death of a actress .
The Tragic Death Of Soundarya
That actress was none other than, Soundarya. A famous actress in Kannada and South Indian cinema who was widely known for her lead role as ‘Radha’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the OG film ‘Sooryavansham’.

On April 17, 2004, Soundarya along with her brother lost her life in a private plane crash. The actress, who was only 31 years old at the time was reportedly pregnant and was going to a political campaign event. Her death has remained as mystery with no conclusive cause ever being put forward.
The Allegations Against Mohan Babu
Now, according to a report by News18 Kannada, a new complaint has been filed after more than 20 years of Soundarya’s death which accuses Mohan Babu of being involved in her death. The complaint alleges that Soundarya and her brother had refused to sell six acres of land in Shamshabad’s Jalpalli village to Mohan Babu. This leads to a dispute between the two which allegedly resulted in her death. The complainant suggests that the tragic crash was not an accidental but rather done intentionally.
The complaint was filed by an individual named Chittimallu, who claimed that Mohan Babu pressured Soundarya and her brother to sell the land and later illegally occupied it after the crash. The complainant has requested the Khammam ACP and District Officer to take action against Mohan Babu and seize the six-acre property for charitable purposes.
