The movie focuses on IMF agent and leader Ethan Hunt, who has possession of the key necessary to defeat the Entity. However, he has to collect his team to find the sunken Russian submarine that houses the source code needed to destroy the technology.
While speaking to actor-social media influencer Avneet Kaur, Tom Cruise talked about his experience in India. Recalling his experience in India, he shared, “I feel so much love for India. Amazing country. Amazing people, amazing culture,” he said.
“I have to say, the whole experience for me has been etched in my memory. Every single moment. From the moment that I landed, going to the Taj Mahal, to spending time in Mumbai with Anil and all the people at the night of the premiere — I remember every moment quite vividly,” he added.
He added, “I would love to go back to India and make a film there. I love Bollywood films, the skill that it takes you to do what you all do is so natural. I love it when in a scene someone suddenly breaks into a song. I love it. It’s something that I have grown up watching—musicals from different countries. I love Bollywood movies. You can just break out into a song—it’s so beautiful. I love the dancing, singing, the actors. That is such a unique experience and craftsmanship of the actors to be able to sing, dance, and act.”
Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, and Angela Bassett have reprised their roles. Lucy Tulugarjuk, Katy O’Brian, Tramell Tillman, and Stephen Oyoung are the new additions to the star cast.
