Mission Impossible 8 Box Office Collection India Day 3: Tom Cruise’s Film Beats Its Prequel’s Record

Mission Impossible 8 focuses on IMF agent and leader Ethan Hunt, who has the possession of the key necessary to defeat the Entity. However, he has to collect his team to find the sunken Russian submarine that houses the source code needed to destroy the technology. 

The final part of Tom Cruise-led ‘Mission Impossible’ has come to its conclusion after 30 years and it is a bittersweet feelings for the fans. ‘Mission Impossible: The Final Reconking’ is indeed one of the most anticipated releases globally and has been performing exceptionally well in India as well. It has given tough competition to many Indian films and Hollywood blockbusters.

According to the website Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 6.75 crore on day 3 and has collected Rs 40.25 crore in total. Meanwhile, as per Hindustan Times, the movie has surpassed the collection of its 2023 prequel ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1’. It has also beaten Marvel’s Thunderbolts and Final Destination: Bloodlines in India and is living up to its hype.

In a recent interaction with social media influencer Avneet Kaur, Tom Cruise talked about his experience in India. Recalling his experience in India, he shared, “I feel so much love for India. Amazing country. Amazing people, amazing culture,” he said. “I have to say, the whole experience for me has been etched in my memory. Every single moment. From the moment that I landed, going to the Taj Mahal, to spending time in Mumbai with Anil and all the people at the night of the premiere — I remember every moment quite vividly,” he added.

He added, “I would love to go back to India and make a film there. I love Bollywood films, the skill that it takes you to do what you all do is so natural. I love it when in a scene someone suddenly breaks into a song. I love it. It’s something that I have grown up watching—musicals from different countries. I love Bollywood movies. You can just break out into a song—it’s so beautiful. I love the dancing, singing, the actors. That is such a unique experience and craftsmanship of the actors to be able to sing, dance, and act.”

Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, and Angela Bassett will also reprise their roles. Lucy Tulugarjuk, Katy O’Brian, Tramell Tillman, and Stephen Oyoung are the new addition to the star cast.
