On September 22, 51 finalist competed for the coveted title of ‘Miss Universe India’ and Rhea Singha from Gujarat emerged as the winner. The 18-year-old will now represent the country at Miss Universe pageant 2024, to be held in Mexico.
After winning the crown, Rhea expressed happiness and shared to ANI, “Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so thankful. I have done so much work to get to this level where I can consider myself worthy enough for this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners.”

Taking to her Instagram handle, Rhea shared a photo on her story from the backstage. In the picture, she was seen wearing an emerald green dress and sitting in makeup room with other contestants. On the side of the mirror selfie, Rhea expressed her emotions and wrote, “It’s the last day today…I am beyond grateful for all the beautiful people I met, the love, support and most importantly the opportunity in itself.”
Unaware of how her life will change in a few hours, she added, “There is so much yet to come. Can’t wait to welcome and embrace the new beginnings.”
Urvashi Rautela crowned the winner!
Bollywood actor and 2015 Miss Universe India finalist Urvashi Rautela crowned Rhea and showed confidence in the next India representative. “I feel what all the girls are feeling. The winners are mind-blowing. They will represent our country very well in Miss Universe, and I am hopeful that India will win the Miss Universe crown again this year. All the girls have been hard-working, dedicated, and extremely beautiful,” she said while addressing the media.
Urvashi was also one of the judges for the competition.
