Saumya Tandon, best known for her role as Anita Bhabhi in the TV show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, is now making waves in Bollywood. She plays the role of Akshay Khanna’s wife in Aditya Dhar’s latest film, Dhurandhar. Most of her scenes were shot alongside Akshay Khanna and Ranveer Singh.

A Memorable Experience Working with Akshaye Khanna
Saumya shared, “I am a huge fan of Akshay. He looks incredibly charming on screen and has a very understated style, which makes watching him a treat. Working with him was a truly wonderful experience. Being cast as his wife was like icing on the cake. Every scene I shot with him was special because I deeply respect him as an actor.”

Speaking about Ranveer Singh, she said, “Ranveer is one of the most powerful actors in the industry. This is a big film for him, and he gave 100% on set. Everyone saw how challenging some of the shoots were, and he put in immense effort. His dedication and hard work truly deserve all the appreciation.”
A New and Intense Experience for Soumya
Reflecting on her overall experience, Saumya added, “This film is inspired by a real-life incident and was extremely intense. I have never done work this intense before. On my TV shows or during hosting, everything is usually light and fun, so this was a completely new experience for me.”
