Malaika Arora recently made a stylish appearance at AP Dhillon’s concert in Mumbai, where she was invited on stage to give the audience a truly unforgettable moment. However, it was what happened off-stage that really caught people’s attention.
Malaika attended the live show with none other than Fashion Stylist Rahul Vijay, sparking rumors of a possible new romance. The two seemed to be thoroughly enjoying each other’s company, and Malaika even shared a cozy picture with Rahul on her Instagram Stories later that night.
After the selfie went viral on social media, people got curious to know more about the handsome man, who reportedly has won Malaika’s heart. The two were spotted together for a dinner date just days ahead of the concert. The rumoured relationship is getting all the attention more so because of Malaika’s last relationship. The actor-dancer dated Arjun Kapoor since 2018 and parted ways somewhere around 2024. The confirmation, however, came only during the promotions of Singham Returns when Arjun openly called himself ‘Single’.
Who Is Rahul Vijay
Rahul Vijay is a well-known name of the fashion industry and has been working with the biggest names of the glamour world since 2011. He has worked with the stars such as Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Vedang Raina, Sunil Shetty and Malaika’s ex, Arjun Kapoor.
Rahul began his journey after graduating from Northern Indian Institue Fashion Technology. He joined Harper’s Bazaar India in 2011 as a fashion intern and went on to work for six long years. During his tenure, he received several promotions and left the organisation as Fashion Editor.
He then moved to Mumbai in 2017 to join prestigious group ELLE India as Senior Fashion Editor, where he led a team of three stylists. As part of the magazine, Rahul styled covers and fashion editorials all the while editing shopping pages for the publication. “I had been a women’s stylist all this while as I had always worked at women’s magazines but when I moved to Bombay, I started doing a lot of menswear shoots and realised that that’s where my real calling lay,” he told Lifestyle Asia India in an interview.
Former GQ Editor
To expand his horizons further, he joined GQ India and took charge of styling covers and fashion editorials as Senior Fashion Editor. He also worked as a Senior Fashion Editor for Tata CliQ between Feb 2021 and January 2023, and moved independent after that.
Rahul is also one of the three Creative Directors working behind Lakme Fashion Week and worked with several leading fashion designers of the country. His role as a Creative Consultant and Stylist encompasses designing houses celebrities and brands in India.

Prateik Gandhi chose Rahul to style him for his Cannes debut in May this year. The actor walked the red carpet of the festival for the premiere of his mother’s (the late Smita Patil) movie Manthan, which was restored by Film Federation of India. For the event he wore a black cropped tuxedo.
Rahul also worked with Arjun on several occasions, one of which was a sangeet ceremony, For event, he gave the Ishqzaade actor a tradition look in embellished jacket and pants.
