Power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their daughter into their family on September 8, 2024. On the occasion of Diwali, the couple surprised us with the beautiful name of their daughter – Dua Padukone Singh. This Diwali is special for the two lovebirds as they rejoice both, personally and professionally. The couple is celebrating the festival for the first time with their newborn daughter as well as the day marks the release of Singham Again where both are playing headlining the multi-starrer.
Announcing their daughter’s name, the couple wrote on Instagram, “Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह. ‘Dua’ : meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude. Deepika & Ranveer.”

On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika currently appeared together in Singham Again as cops. The movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff. Deepika was last seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and will also be seen in its second part.
Ranveer was last seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ with Alia Bhatt. He will next star in an untitled Aditya Dhar’s film. He will also star in ‘Don 3’ with Kiara Advani.
