After Vasudev Salgaonkar's sudden death, Deepti and his son, Duttaraj Salgaokar, formed a new bond. Love grew between the families, and Deepti and Raj fell for each other at first sight. After dating for five years, they married on December 31, 1983, and began their life together in Goa.
Her Connection With Nirav Modi
Deepti Salgaokar's life may seem removed from high-profile scandals, but fate had other plans. Her daughter, Isheta Salgaokar, married Neeshal Modi, the younger brother of the troubled tycoon Nirav Modi, in 2016, linking Deepti’s family to a major financial scandal. However, Isheta and Neeshal later divorced, and she fell in love with Atulya Mittal, the founder of Nexzu Mobility and nephew of business tycoon Lakshmi Niwas Mittal.
