After a successful theatrical run, Tamil cinema’s Pradeep Ranganathan delivers another hit with his fun romantic comedy Dude, now available for streaming on Netflix from November 14, 2025. Known as the "hero who never flops," Pradeep’s film, made on a modest Rs 40 crore budget, grossed an impressive Rs 117 crore at the box office, marking his third consecutive Rs 100 crore club success after Love Today and Dragon.
Dude was released in theaters on 17 October 2025, during Diwali, alongside Bison Kaalamaadan and Diesel. In India, it earned Rs 11 crore (around $1.3 million), including Rs 4 crore (around $470,000) from the Telugu states, making it the highest opening among the new releases. Worldwide, the film collected Rs 22 crore (around $2.6 million), marking Pradeep Ranganathan’s biggest opening to date.

The film revolves around childhood friends Agan and Kural, whose unbreakable bond is tested when Kural faces romantic struggles, forcing Agan to juggle his own hidden feelings while wanting the best for her.
