The official description of the documentary reads, “On October 28th, 2023, the news that actor Matthew Perry was found dead at home in Los Angeles shocked the world. In his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing,” he had told his story of battling addiction, and when ketamine was found in his system, it was thought by many that he had died from an overdose. Nearly a year later, a bombshell announcement from prosecutors: five people, including Perry’s live-in personal assistant, two medical doctors, and an alleged Hollywood drug dealer known as “the Ketamine Queen” were charged with conspiracy to illegally provide Perry with ketamine. The special explores the case as two of the defendants, who have pleaded not guilty, await trial.”

Matthew Perry died on October 28, 2023. The late actor’s autopsy revealed that drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine were the causes of his death. Five individuals, including a live-in assistant, two doctors and a woman, have been related to the ketamine supply given to Perry. U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada stated that these suspects took advantage of Perry’s addiction issues.
His mother Suzanne Morrison appeared on the show NBC Morning News and talked about how she had a premonition before her son’s tragic death. She shared, “Just before he died when he was showing me one of his new houses. He came up to me and said, ‘I love you so much, and I’m so happy to be with you now. And I’m so…It was almost as though it was a premonition or something. I didn’t think about it at the time, but I thought, ‘How long has it been since we’ve had a conversation like that?’ It’s been years.”
He gained global fame after playing the role of Chandler Bing in the sitcom ‘Friends’. He also starred in several popular movies including ’17 Again’ and ‘Fools Rush In’.
