This Friday brings two fresh clashes Masti 4 and Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur. Despite belonging to completely different genres, both films are off to a sluggish start in terms of advance bookings.
120 Bahadur, starring Farhan Akhtar, has been promoted heavily over the past few weeks, while Masti 4 brings back the popular comedy franchise with a new instalment. The earlier Masti films were hits, except for the third one, which didn’t work well. Now, all eyes are on how both films will fare at the box office.
Masti 4 box office prediction day 1:
Masti 4 is expected to earn around Rs 1.5-3.5 crore on its first day. The earlier films, especially Grand Masti, opened much stronger, but this instalment is likely to start slow.
About Masti 4
Masti is an Indian sex comedy franchise, and its fourth chapter brings back Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani, joined by Vivek Oberoi, Tusshar Kapoor, Elnaaz Norouzi and Ruhi Singh. While the first three films were directed by Indra Kumar, the fourth instalment marks a shift as Milap Zaveri takes over the director’s chair.
120 Bahadur box office prediction day 1:
120 Bahadur is expected to open in the Rs 2-4 crore range on Day 1. The film looks well made, but since it doesn’t have a strong initial buzz or a major hook, it will depend heavily on word of mouth to grow after release.
