It appears that Mary Kom took exception at The Great Indian Kapil Show’s repeated jokes about irate boxers. On Saturday night’s program, the boxing champion was spotted alongside Saina Nehwal and Sania Mirza. Throughout the Netflix program, Kapil Sharma made jokes about Saina’s badminton game, Sania’s gold medals, and frequently brought up the topic of furious boxers. Mary once admitted that the jokes were starting to irritate her.

The incident started when Mary and Kapil discussed the mouth guards that boxers frequently use. ‘Mary, I watch boxing in movies, and before the fight, the coach puts a denture guard in the boxer’s mouth. ‘Why does every boxer chew pan before boxing?’ was a question I used to have. I learned about this really late,’ he remarked.

Mary’s facial expressions shifted, and Kapil could tell she was becoming irate. When Mary became irritated, Kapil asked, ‘Don’t be angry.’ ‘No, I’m not; I’ve never been furious, but right now you’re making me feel angry. You have been squeezing my leg,” she remarked. Mary was mocked by Archana, who said, “Show him how angry you can be,’ but Kapil sought to console her.

‘To safeguard our teeth, we wear the guard. It is utilized for ice hockey in addition to boxing. But you brought up boxing,’ she remarked. Everyone went into splits when Kapil blurted out, ‘Maaf karo.’ She clenches her teeth while she speaks and looks at me. When Mary questioned, ‘Aise kyun, it makes me wonder if she’s angry at me,’ he said. She was interrupted by Kapil, who emphasized, “No, I’m just joking.” Merely jesting? Then okay, Mary remarked, putting up with his jokes. My bread and butter is this. Remain calm,” admitted Kapil.

Aside from this one instance, Mary seemed to be enjoying herself during the show. She was observed revealing specifics about her journey and laughing heartily at several jokes.

Mary disclosed on the broadcast that a friend and a member of her family had joined her. She introduced them to Kapil and asked if they could snap a photo with him. The comic agreed right away, saying he would snap the pictures once the show was filmed.
