New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan has once again set the box office on fire with Jawan, his latest release. Director Atlee broke the record for the biggest ever opening in the history of Hindi cinema with the action film grossing Rs 74 crore across all languages in India on its first day of release.
This clearly depicts the craze the nation has for the “King of Romance” who is in a thriller film. Howerver, he does showed his romantic side with “Chaleya”, a song in the movie that everybody is hooked with.
The Kolkata Artist Who Eagerly Waited For Jawan
Amidst the frenzy surrounding Jawan, an artist from Kolkata created a nine-metre-long portrait of Shah Rukh using pieces of white marble. Pritam Banerjee took to Instagram to share a video of the artwork he created on the roof of a building.
In the clip, he is seen using marble and a paintbrush to create a realistic portrait of the 57-year-old actor. A photo taken by a drone captured a stunning portrait of Banerjee spreading her arms in Shah Rukh’s iconic pose.
Pritam wrote: “Tribute to the King Khan @iamsrk making of the portrait with white marble stone chips. Size approximately 30ft. Anyway, this comes from the core of my heart, the love I have for this Man is beyond the size of this art I wish he could see this! Made this big picture art a month back, since then waited for the right time to post it. I think now was the time. Can’t wait for #Jawan Ready!!!???”
Pritam viewers to share the video if they are SRK fan too and at present, the video has got 511,649 likes. The video was posted 3 days ago.
The frame in the end looks so clean and chic. The huge portrait of Shahrukh Khan was such a beautiful and emotional tribute to Shahruk Khan who certainly rules the hearts of many.
