The Marvel Cinematic Universe is loaded with some insane projects which are set to lead the theatre as well as the OTTs in 2026. From the brand new arc of Spider-Man to the debut of Dr. Doom and the return of Punisher, here’s the list of some MCU projects which are ready to create a storm in 2026.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, aka ‘Peter Parker,’ is coming back after wrapping up the drastic events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. This time, Peter is more serious, more grounded and is ready to face his most dangerous comic book villains. Tom Holland is coming back, along with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. Sadie Sink is rumoured to join the cast as well. Some serious returns and cameos are also rumoured for the film.
Avengers: Doomsday
Robert Downey Jr., famously known as Iron Man, aka Tony Stark, is all set to return to the MCU as Victor Von Doom or Dr. Doom. He will be seen as the most cruel and powerful antagonist of the Marvel Franchise. Doom is coming to establish his empire to rule the whole Multiverse. Reportedly, seven different teams of protagonists are getting assembled to face their biggest ever threat. The cast for ‘Fantastic Four’, ‘Thunderbolts’ and ‘X-Men’ are going to reprise their role in this star studded movie.
The Punisher Special
Marvel’s one of the most ruthless anti-heroes is ready to make his debut in the MCU. Jonathan Edward is marking his return to reprise the role of Punisher ‘Frank Castle’, a vigilante who uses lethal methods to fight crime. The series is reportedly set to stream in the latter half of 2026.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
After the events of ‘She Hulk’, Matt Murdock, aka ‘Daredevil’, our blind superhero will find himself in a collision with Wilson Foulks. Season 2 will follow the climax of last season, and fans can expect some cameos as well. Charlie Cox and Margarita Levieva will return in this series, set to air in March 2026.
X-MEN 97
The story carries forward the arc of ‘X-Men: The Animated Series’ (1992-1997). The team of X-Men is ready to face the new dangers without the leadership of Charles Xavier. Meanwhile, the legendary mutant Magneto is set to mentor this team. The series is coming in the summer of 2026.
Wonder Man
Simon Williams ‘Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’, son of a rich industrialist, Sanford Williams, accidentally gained some exceptional superpowers due to a treatment done by Baren Zemo. ‘Wonder Man’ is set to release on January 27, 2026.
