Kannada cinema witnessed a big clash at the box office this Christmas with both Mark and 45 releasing on the same day. Both movies have created a lot of excitement among the audience as they have intriguing plots and stellar star casts.
Mark vs 45 box office collection day 1 prediction:
According to the website Sacnilk, 45 has earned Rs 4.24 crore on day 1. The numbers are less than Mark but still impressive. Mark opened to Rs 7.32 crore.
About Mark:
Mark follows a police officer, who races to catch the criminals when 18 children are abducted and found dead. With only 18 hours left, he must confront powerful foes and use unconventional tactics to succeed. It stars Kiccha Sudeep in the titular role along with Naveen Chandra, Shine Tom Chacko, Vikranth, Roshni Prakash, Guru Somasundaram, Yogi Babu, Deepshika, Dragon Manju, Gopalkrishna Deshpande and Nishvika Naidu.
This is the second collaboration between Kiccha Sudeep and director Vijay Kartikeyaa after the grand success of Max. The movie is produced jointly by Sathya Jyothi Films and Kichcha Creations. The technical crew has cinematographer Shekar Chandra, editor S. R. Ganesh Babu, and music composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

45 stars Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra, Raj B. Shetty, Kaustubha Mani, and Jisshu Sengupta in the lead roles. The movie also released in the dubbed versions of Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam. The plot follows Vinay, an IT employee, who dreams of an accident which leads to his death. However, things turn serious when the scenes he saw in his dreams start happening in real life.
