Marco OTT Release: Unni Mukundan-starrer ‘Marco’ has become a blockbuster and received praise from both the audience and critics. The movie focuses on the gold syndicate and how the business rivalry among the cartel develops into a personal rivalry. After much await, Marco has also released on the OTT platform but it seems like fans are not happy with it.
Marco is streaming on SonyLiv. However, the audience expressed their disappointment as its uncut version was not release online. According to reports, an uncut version of ‘Marco’ was supposed to release on OTT. See how the viewers reacted to the makers’ decision of not releasing the uncut version of Marco.


In an interview with Baradwaj Rangan for Galatta Plus, Unni Mukundan talked about the concerning the manner of violence depicted in the film. He said, “Marco doesn’t even show ten percent of the violence present in our society.”
He added, “Violence has been a part of human evolution. We have attained peace through wars. Above all, survival is our ultimate goal. I’m not saying it is an excuse to show violence on screen, but the fact remains that violence exists in our society.”
Amid the celebrations of his success, the actor announced his decision to resign from the position of Treasurer at AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). He shared that he has been overwhelmed due to his increasing responsibilities. He wrote, “Dear All, I hope this message finds you well. After much thought and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to step down from my role as the Treasurer (AMMA). I have truly enjoyed my time in this position, and it has been both an exciting and rewarding experience. However, in recent months, the increasing demands of my work, particularly with Marco and other production commitments, have significantly impacted my mental health. Balancing these responsibilities, along with the pressures of my professional life, has become overwhelming. I now realize the importance of stepping back to focus on my own well-being and that of my family’s.”
Talking about ‘Marco’, the movie also stars Siddique, Jagadish, Abhimanyu S Thilakan, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul and Yukti Thareja.
