Malayalam superstar Mammootty worried his fans after the reports of his ill health surfaced on social media. He has been away from the limelight for over a year and a half, and this sparked several speculations regarding his well-being. Film producer Anto Joseph, who is Mammootty’s close friend, expressed his gratitude towards god as the actor has now reportedly made a full recovery.
Anto Joseph wrote on X, “The prayers of many people around the world have borne fruit, thank you God, thank you, thank you.”
Mammootty’s another close friend, George S, penned a note on social media and thanked everyone who supported him in tough times. He wrote, “I stand before you with folded hands, eyes filled with joy. To those who prayed, to those who stood by, to those who consoled me by saying that nothing would happen, to those who loved me with endless love…thank you.”
Actress Maala Parvathi also shared a picture with Mammootty and wrote, “There is no greater news than this. Mammookka has completely recovered.”
Mammootty was last seen in the 2024 film ‘Yatra 2’ alongside Jiiva. He has been absent from the limelight after the release of this film.
