Malaika Arora’s Father’s Death: Malaika Arora’s father passed away on Wednesday morning with reports suggesting that he allegedly committed suicide. Mumbai police also have given their first official statement in the matter. As per DCP Crime Branch, Raj Tilak Roshan, ‘Prima facie seems to be suicide’. However, in a twist in the case, the actor’s mother Joyce Polycarp’s statement to the police hints that it could have been an accident.
As per the sources, Malaika’s mother said in her statement that her former husband Anil would sit in the balcony every morning to read the newspaper. She further informed that on Wednesday morning, when she saw Anil’s slippers in the living room, she went to look for him in the balcony but could not find him. Therefore, she leaned over the balcony to check what has happened. To her shock, the building watchman was shouting for help.
While the two have been divorced for years, Joyce informed the police that they had started living together again for the past few years.
Joyce also cleared the air around Anil’s health and told the police that her ex-husband was not suffering from any health related issues except for some knee pain.
