Malaika Arora Father Death: Actors Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora’s step-father Anil Mehta passed away on September 11. In a statement, police officials said that though it looks like a suicide, “We are probing the incident from all angles.” They added, “A process to file an accidental death report is on.” Additionally, it’s been reported that the police is looking for Anil Mehta’s diary, as it may help them in finding the missing pieces of the puzzle and put an end to all the speculations.

What’s In The Diary?

An undisclosed source has shared that Anil Mehta had a habit of writing about his everyday activities in a diary. He would often find comfort in writing about things he was going through. However, the diary has now been missing. Finding it becomes all the more important for the police as no suicide note has been recovered yet.

Anil Mehta’s health

Several questions have been raised in the last two days about Anil Mehta’s mental health and whether or not it was depression that led him to take the drastic step.

Malaika’s mother Joyce Polycarp, in her statement to police, clarified that he had no issues except for some knee pain. Not just that, one of Anil Mehta’s neighbour also agreed that he would not have committed suicide. The neighbour shared that Anil was a very cheerful and fun loving person. Moreover, he was not going through any issue, which would push him to take this drastic step.

Discovery of Anil Mehta’s diary would substantiate the statements about his mental state, problems he was facing and if there was something bothering him in the days before this unfortunate incident took place.
