New Delhi: Mahesh Babu’s father and veteran superstar Krishna died at the age of 79 in Hyderabad. The actor suffered a cardiac arrest and was soon hospitalised on November 13. He took his last breath on November 15 at around 4 am while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

As per media reports, the doctor revived him after 20 minutes of CPR on Monday night when he was rushed to the hospital. However, his health deteriorated which led to his death.

Krishna was hospitalized at the Continental Hospital in Hyderabad on November 13. The doctors informed that his health was critical and was kept on ventilator.

The doctors were quoted saying, “Midnight, he came in an emergency to the hospital in an unconscious state. We have done CPR for cardiac arrest, then we shifted to ICU and he is stable right now. Doctors and a team of cardiologists are regularly following his health. As of now, we can’t say what the outcome will be. We are providing the best treatment. In the next 24 hours, we will get better information about his health.”

Twitter is flooded with condolences to Mahesh Babu and his family. The veteran actor’s death is a major loss to the Telegu film industry.

Earlier, Mahesh Baby lost his mother Indira Devi, who passed away in September this year. While he is dealing with this loss, his father’s death came as a major blow to his family.
