Maharashtra Elections 2024: The elections in Maharashtra have finally kickstarted and the citizens have also begun casting their votes. Several Bollywood celebrities were also snapped outside the polling booths and urged the public to fulfill their duties as well. Akshay Kumar was one of the first Bollywood actors, who was clicked in the city to cast his vote. Later, other celebrities including Rajkummar Rao, Farhan Akhtar, and John Abraham were seen as well.
Rajkummar Rao, while speaking to Press Trust Of India, said, “It is our right in a democracy, so it’s important that we step outside and vote. I have performed my duty. It is your turn now. Please vote.”
Bollywood Sonu Sood said, “It is the responsibility of every citizen to go out and vote. It’s very important for the country. Don’t celebrate it as a holiday. Go and vote.”

Akshay Kumar also interacted with some reporters outside the voting booth and praised the arrangements made by the government. He said, “The best thing is the arrangements are really good. I saw that planning was done well for senior citizens. It’s clean too. Yahi hai ki sab log aaye, vote kare (Everyone should come and vote). That is the most important thing.”
John Abraham interacted with some fans and clicked selfies outside the polling booth.
Kartik Aaryan was also seen casting his votes.
