The impact of the video has proved far-reaching in the entertainment industry.

Producer-director Ram Gopal Varma who has collaborated with Mantena in the past, is impressed. “Madhu was always full of interesting ideas. He is now implementing his ideas in a streamlined game-changing way. The video shows how serious he is about out-of-the-box ideas.”

Sources tell me Madhu Mantena has several projects in the process of development with both A-list stars and newcomers. Quite a number of new faces from outside and within the film industry would emerge from Mantena’s Mad Man production in the coming two years.

There is an action franchise being developed, and a horror-comedy franchise but one very far removed from Stree and Bhool Bhulaiya.

Also on the anvil from Mad Man is a superhero franchise which “would be nothing like Krrish”.
