Mad Square Vs Robinhood Box Office Collection Day 1: Telugu film industry witnessed the release of two film this week: ‘Mad Square’ and ‘Robinhood’. Both the movies featured a talented ensemble star cast and had interesting subjects. However, it seems Mad Square is the clear winner as it is the first choice of Telugu cinema fans. Robinhood has been struggling to attract audience to the theatres despite creating hype before its release.

According to the website Sacnilk, Mad Square collected Rs 7.75 crore as per early estimates on day 1.

As per Sacnilk, Robinhood earned Rs 2 crore only on its opening day.
About Mad Square:
Mad Square stars Narne Nithiin, Sangeeth Sobhan, Ram Nitin and Priyanka Jawalkar in the lead roles. The movie is set a few years after the first film ‘Mad’ and focuses on Ashok, DD, Manoj and Ganesh’s trip to Goa.
As many fans compared Mad Square from Hangover, but Sangeeth Shobhan said that there is no connection between both the film. While speaking to Cinema Express, he shared, “Not really. People might assume that because a bunch of boys are going to Goa in the second half, and the first half has a wedding. But there’s no actual connection. We’ll see, hopefully people watch the film and see for themselves.”
The movie is written and directed by Kalyan Shankar and produced by Sithara Entertainments.

Australian cricketer David Warner will also have a cameo role in Telugu film ‘Robinhood’.
