Sonakshi married Zaheer Iqbal in a civil ceremony on June 23, with their parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, in attendance to bless the occasion. However, Luv Sinha was notably absent.
Luv shared a segment from a news report stating that he skipped the wedding due to concerns about the groom’s father’s business. He posted the news article link on X and confirmed his absence from blessing the newlyweds. Referring to himself as ‘Shotgun Junior’, the actor explained his lack of attendance, citing clear reasons for not associating with certain individuals. “I didn’t attend for specific reasons and would not align with some people under any circumstances. I appreciate the media member who conducted thorough research instead of relying on PR-generated narratives,” he wrote.

While Luv opted not to attend his sister’s celebration, Kussh Sinha, the other brother, briefly appeared. His wife and other family members stood by the bride’s side, affirming that Zaheer brought her the utmost happiness in life.
