‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’ has been receiving praise from the audience and the critics alike for creating a captivating superhero movie. The movie revolves around a young woman who gains mystical skills while facing personal hurdles. She embraces her superpowers to save the world when evil surfaces. Produced by popular actor Dulquer Salmaan, the movie will reportedly expand into a franchise. Amid its good box office performance, there has been a lot of speculation regarding its OTT release.
Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra OTT Release Update:
According to Indiatimes, ‘Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra‘ will reportedly release on Netflix after its theatrical run. However, the makers have not announced their official streaming partner yet. Dulquer Salmaan’s previously produced movies ‘Kurup’ and ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ have also been released on Netflix.
The movie stars Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in the lead roles.
While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, Kalyani Priyadarshan praised Dulquer Salmaan for creating a project like ‘Lokah’. She said, “You need to appreciate that we have people like Dulquer backing such a film.”

“Not only is it very different; it also takes a lot of courage to spend so much time and money on a film like Lokah. I’m not sure if such subjects are being discussed in other industries but it’s because of people like him that it’s being made in Malayalam. He’s a real risk-taker and if you look at his parents and mine, they were risk-takers too. That matters,” she added.
Arun Kurian, Chandu Salimkumar, Nishanth Sagar, Raghunath Paleri, Vijayaraghavan, Nithya Shri and Sarath Sabha are in supporting roles.
